If you determine that a new depreciation book needs to be added to a specific class and category as a default, you do not need to manually add this book to all existing assets using this class and category combination. Once the new book code is added in the Categoy (FA.250.00) screen, click the Add Books to Assets button. This will locate all assets that use this class and category combination and compares the list of existing book codes with the new list in the categories screen and adds what is missing.
